Treatment for Individuals Experiencing Homelessness Program (TIEH)
SAMHSA’s (TIEH) program expands access to mental and substance use disorders treatment for people experiencing homelessness along with a serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, or co-occurring disorders.
We aim to connect underserved individuals and families facing homelessness to sustainable, comprehensive care. The TIEH Project offers community-based services designed to address a wide range of needs, including:
- Behavioral Health Treatment
- Recovery Support
- Assistance in Securing Sustainable Housing
How It Works
The TIEH Project operates with two specialized teams of a therapist and case manager, serving all of Okaloosa County from our offices in Fort Walton Beach and Crestview.
Who Can Benefit
We welcome referrals! If you know of an individual, youth, or family in Okaloosa County experiencing any of the following, we’re here to help:
- Serious Mental Illness OR
- Serious Emotional Disturbance OR
- Co-occurring Disorders (Substance Abuse and Mental Health)
AND
- Homelessness or Risk of Becoming Homeless
