POSITION SUMMARY:     

Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) is excited to invite qualified candidates to apply for the role of Evaluator for the Treatment for Individuals Experiencing Homelessness (TIEH) project that want to work with individuals experiencing homelessness to address Mental Health (MH), and Substance Abuse (SA) issues by providing accessible client-centered, cost-effective, and quality outcome-based care. These services will be provided primarily in the community.

The Evaluator is responsible for the management of the evaluation process of the TIEH project, including overseeing the implementation of evaluation tasks required, the collection/compilation of data, the analysis of data, and program reporting as required by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and stipulated within the TIEH project guidelines.

This position is funded by revenue appropriated by contract and your employment is contingent upon continued funding of this position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field i.e., Business, Management, Computer Science, Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.

Bilingual/bicultural English and Spanish preferred, but not required.

Applicant must be able to pass an Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) Medicaid and Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Level II background check, drug screen, and a Tuberculosis (TB) test. Applicant must be at least twenty-one (21) years old and have a valid Florida Driver’s License with no more than three (3) points on their driving record to be insured under BCI’s automobile insurance policy.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Some of the job tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work in conjunction with providers to identify individuals experiencing homelessness who are in need of services.
  • Provide support to develop clear, defined goals/objectives for the TIEH project and from the Disparity Impact Statement (DIS), using the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely) model.
  • Provide support in the development of data collection, data entry, and data compilation processes for required performance measures and other identified project goals/objectives.
  • Maintain records of when TIEH project reports and assessments are due, notifying project staff of upcoming deadlines.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, or other graphical presentations of data as needed
  • Maintain a statistical database of descriptive and outcome measures as related to the TIEH project.
  • Interpret, analyze, and make recommendations based on the data.
  • Present aggregated data and cross-tabulated data as part of the formative review process.
  • Advise on changes of processes based on outcomes.
  • Provide assistance in the completion of Needs Assessments as required by the TIEH project criteria.
  • Work with TIEH staff to ensure compliance with GPRA requirements and provide electronic conveyance of data as applicable.
  • Assist in collection of TIEH satisfaction surveys.
  • Assist in preparation of TIEH project and grant reports in accordance with grant agreement and other reporting requirements.
  • Other evaluation tasks as required and/or requested.

WORK LOCATION:   Primary work location is Fort Walton Beach (FWB) in the office. Travel within the county and/or surrounding areas is required as needed.

WORK HOURS:  Fluctuates / Flexible – Forty (40) Hours of Work

WAGE:   The wage for this position is $22.00 per hour.
