HUD – Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH)

Housing First, an evidence-based practice recognized by the federal government, is the basis of the PSH Program.

Housing First involves providing permanent housing as a precursor to receiving supportive services. This practice prioritizes housing for the chronically homeless, thus ending their homelessness and serving as a platform from which they can pursue personal goals and improve their quality of life.
