Carrie Parker was born at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma to a military family. Carrie’s father was an officer in the Air Force. Her family came to Eglin AFB in 1990, where they decided to make this their permanent home. She grew up in Niceville and graduated high school in 1999 at 16 years old. Carrie had her first management position at 16 years old, where she was a shift lead at Hardee’s in Bluewater Bay. In 2003, she worked for Belk Department Store and was promoted quickly to Regional Administrative Assistant and would travel to Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida stores to train Human Resource Managers. Carrie ended her career at Belk in 2014 as the Operations Manager, where she closed the doors for the last time at the Mary Esther location.
This is where Carrie came to work for Bridgeway Center in 2014, starting as the Human Resources Administrative Assistant. After serving in various positions in Human Resources, she was promoted to Human Resources & Risk Management Program Manager in 2018 and Human Resources and Quality Program Director in 2021. Carrie enjoys working at Bridgeway Center, where she would like to continue to grow and one day retire from Bridgeway Center.
Carrie’s all-time greatest accomplishment is being a single parent raising four teenage children. After 2021, she will have two college and two high school students. Carrie’s children keep her busy with football, track, dance, and life outside work.
