Batterers Intervention

Bridgeway Center Inc.’s Batterer’s Intervention Program is a certified program designed to help individuals who have self-identified domestic violence or are at risk for domestic violence behaviors.

Domestic violence is a serious issue that affects many individuals and families. Our program is dedicated to providing effective solutions to prevent and intervene in domestic violence situations. We understand that each individual’s situation is unique, so our program begins with an in-depth assessment to ensure each participant’s most effective course of service.

Our program consists of 29 weeks of group sessions held once per week. During this time, participants will develop, practice, and receive feedback on newly acquired skills. We aim to help participants challenge their beliefs, hold them accountable for their behavior, and provide alternatives for more appropriate behavior.

Our program is intended to provide a consistent community and state-wide intervention model that promotes violence-free behavior among family and household members. By providing support, accountability, and monitoring, we believe we can help participants overcome their domestic violence behaviors and establish a system of compliance and non-compliance to the court.
