MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Active Florida LPN license with experience in mental health. Candidate must be able to pass a Department of Children and Families Level II criminal background check, drug screening, and a Tuberculosis (TB) test.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: 

  • Experience providing psychiatric patient care for outpatient treatment, therapy, and psychosocial programs.

  • Knowledge and compliance to standards defined by Medicaid for Psychiatric services.

  • Understanding of medications used for mental health treatment.

  • Knowledge of Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) offered by pharmaceutical companies.

  • Ability to provide client nursing care.

  • Ability to work with others and accept supervision in a team environment.

  • Ability to perform work that is accurate, thorough, and completed within required timeframes.

  • Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to navigate and document properly in the Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) Electronic Health Record (EHR).

  • Experience and knowledge of electronic prescriptions to pharmacies.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:  BCI is hiring for a Psychiatric Services Nurse position. We are seeking highly motivated applicants that want to learn and grow with BCI.   • Provide assistance to Provider (ARNP & MD)

  • Utilize EHR software

  • Complete documentation within timeframes i.e., treatment plans being signed and dated by treating Provider and treatment plan reviews.

  • Monitor Psychiatric progress notes

  • Complete clinical documentation

  • Effectively communicates with Providers regarding patient care and needs

  • Processes medication requests

  • Document medication record to include any changes between client visits.

  • Performs prior medication authorizations for Medicaid and Medicare clients as well as private insurance clients.

  • Outcome measures upon client admission and discharge.
