MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Experience working in direct behavioral health care services preferred. Applicant must be able to pass a Level II DCF criminal background check, drug screen, and a Tuberculosis (TB) test.

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide on-site direct behavioral health care services for persons with substance use disorders through biopsychosocial assessments and by facilitating substance use groups using evidence based practices; responsible for proper documentation of group activities for each individual participant and collaborative treatment planning using a Recovery Oriented System of Care approach. Provide linkage to other services as needed through direct Care Coordination. Have the ability to work as an active team member.  Be responsible for ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment and adhering to all safety standards, Federal and State regulations, and corporate policies. Willing and able to perform other duties as deemed appropriate by his/her direct report.

WORK LOCATION: Fort Walton Beach (FWB)

WORK HOURS: 40 Hours per week; some evenings may be required.
